The Netherlands' Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI) represents the interests of the Dutch shipbuilding and shiprepair industry. VNSI supports her members in education, labour conditions, environmental issues, technical standards and regulations, statistics, research and development and financing.

VNSI actively co-operates with other organisations within the maritime cluster and is a member of the Community of European Shipyards' Associations (CESA) and the Dutch Maritime Network (NML).

The activities of VNSI and sister organisation Holland Marine Equipment Association are carried out by Holland Shipbuilding Association.
Holland Shipbuilding Association is the central organisation of VNSI and Holland Marine Equipment Association and trade association of FME.

It represents a total maritime turnover of € 7.6 billion, an export volume of € 4.6 billion, and a combined direct workforce of over 35,000 people. Holland Shipbuilding Association offers expertise in the fields of innovation policy, finance, environmental and health & safety policy, subsidies, European affairs, government policy, public relations, marketing, and branch matters.
