Bakker Sliedrecht: eye on the world at Europort 2011

It includes the full range of electrical systems for heavy duty  marine applications: energy generation, switch boards, well thought-out drive- and control systems for e-propulsion, pumps, cutters, cranes and winches as well as sophisticated automation-, alarm & monitoring system.   System integration, project management,onsite assistance, installation, commissioning and turnkey or package delivery are competences that significantly contribute to smooth handover from the yard to the ship owner.

Cyclect Electrical Engineering Pte. Ltd is our new agent in Singapore and this collaboration results in offering a wider electro technical package, enabling overall solutions, including mounting and service in the Singapore area.

In Brazil Bakker Sliedrecht participates in the Holland Marine House Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, where again Bakker Sliedrecht undertakes their efforts in expanding our world wide services.

Green Technology

Hybrid and green technology leads to benefits in terms of energy saving and reduction of emissions by using electronics, fuel cells, batteries, supercaps, etc. Bakker Sliedrecht developed a comprehensive package with regard to energy management and optimum fuel efficiency and emissions.

Bakker Sliedrecht will show a working model of possibilities for energy saving.

Submersible motors and -techniques

Bakker Sliedrecht develops and manufactures custom made submersible electrical motors for many marine applications. Typical applications can be found in dredging and deepsea mining industries. Depending on the application the motors are oil-, air- or water filled.  Our motors include specialized techniques such as  cable terminations and junction boxes.

Specific diesel-electric propulsion and DP systems

Bakker Sliedrecht give many examples, including a virtual tour, of executed  projects for diesel-electric propulsion and projects under construction, all with DP requirements and FMEA analyses.

On Bakker Sliedrecht’s booth they will have a special drive-technology corner where they can explain all frequency drive systems, inclusive the influences on other systems.
