Kamminga opens new building VAF Instruments

Date: 1 September

Jan Kamminga, president and CEO of the association FME-CWM, will perform the official opening of the impressive new premises of VAF Instruments B.V. at the Vierlinghstraat  in Dordrecht on Monday afternoon, September 12th.

In May 2009 a devastating fire completely destroyed the factory.  After two years of hard work and improvising, divided over a number of temporary sites in Dordrecht, the VAF employees are all united again under one roof. The new factory is outfitted with the most modern production and calibration equipment available. The 100 employees are proud of their new, modern accommodation and look forward to the future with confidence.

VAF Instruments BV develops and manufactures measurement and control instrumentation, mainly for ships and power plants. In 2 of in total 5 product lines the company is the worldwide market leader. In recent years, the shipbuilding industry, it’s largest players concentrated in South Korea, China and Japan, has  grown enormously.  VAF Instruments has effectively responded with innovative products, resulting in more than doubling their sales. The customer-focused organization and VAF’s global network of agents have certainly contributed to this success.
