Mega Yachts: ‘The comfort class is here’
On the openings day of Europort 2011. Tuesday November 8 at 14.00 hours, the first workshop as part of the Advanced Technology Conferences will be held. These conferences are being organised by HME in cooperation with Ahoy. This ATC has the central theme ‘Mega Yachts: The comfort class is here’.
Even during the economical crisis of the last two years, new mega yachts have still been ordered worldwide. The requirements of the quality and division of the yachts, which are set by the owners, is increasing. The owner and his guests demand the highest comfort on board in order to feel completely at ease on board the yacht. Furthermore, the yacht has to be state of the art. To keep up with the increased demands of the yacht owners, the builders of the mega yachts are developing several designs and technologies that will increase the comfort on board. The latest developments on noise reduction, vibration reduction and high efficiency energy systems will be presented in this workshop.
Workshop
The workshop will start with a small introduction, followed by presentations of leading companies in the Mega Yacht sector such as Alewijnse Marine Technology BV. At the end of the seminar there is room for discussion. In just two hours, you will receive the very latest information on Mega Yacht innovation, particularly regarding energy efficiencies. We look forward to a lively debate!
