Naval Specials: ‘Efficient systems for high performance’
At November 9, 10.30 hours, the second Advanced Technology Conference will take place during Europort 2011 in Rotterdam. The workshop Naval Specials has the central theme: ‘Efficient systems with high redundancy’.
At the Dutch navy condition based maintenance has been introduced in the last couple of years. The philosophy is to focus on reducing life cycle costs by implementing high tech maintenance systems and increase redundancy of the equipment and automation. Smart systems will support the discussion maker(s) on board, which will lead to a reduction of crew on board of Navy vessels.
Workshop
The workshop will start with a small introduction, followed by presentations of the various efficient systems integrated in Naval Specials. At the end of the seminar there is room for discussion. In just two hours, you will receive the very latest information on Naval Specials innovation. We look forward to a lively debate!
