Dutch maritime companies will visit the Arabian Gulf from October 23 to October 28. These companies participate in a trade mission of NL EVD International. HME organises this maritime trade mission to the Arabian Gulf. State-of-the-art technology Much of the equipment on board is supplied by independent Dutch companies that are active world wide and offer state-of-the-art technology. The strength of the Dutch maritime equipment suppliers lies within their power to continuously innovate and cooperate. Trade mission Program Meet the Dutch This maritime trade mission to the Arabian Gulf is supported by NL EVD International, part of NL Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The Dutch have a long tradition in the production of innovative maritime solutions. As a seafaring nation we have always had many shipbuilding activities in our country, which brings the industry great international status. The Dutch dredging companies, for example, belong to the world leaders and the Dutch shipyards build very complex ships. Also, the Netherlands have the largest inland shipping fleet of Europe, the offshore sector is flourishing and our navy has some of the most modern ships in the world. Last but not least, the Netherlands are building very exclusive megayachts and Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe.
This trade mission to the Arabian Gulf is a good and effective way for Arabian companies to get acquainted with Dutch suppliers. The maritime trade mission will focus on the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Qatar and Kuwait.
