Recently, the first issue of Maritime by Holland Magazine in 2012 was published. This edition focuses on deep sea mining and how Dutch companies and research institutes are already involved in this up-and-coming and promising industry.
The guest column is provided by Sjaak Verhoeven, chairman of Bakker Sliedrecht Electro Industrie B.V. and Bas Ort, lawyer and partner at Zwartbol Advocaten, gives his vision on, among other things, the discussion about maritime dispute settlement according to Dutch versus English law.
