Project 406: Royal Huisman orders complete electrotechnical installation for world’s largest sportfish yacht
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has received a new order from superyacht builder Royal Huisman for the design, supply and installation of the complete electrotechnical system on Project 406. This luxurious 52-metre sportfish yacht will have a hull and superstructure made of Alustar® aluminium and be the largest and most innovative yacht of its kind ever built.
Now under construction at the Royal Huisman yard in Vollenhove, the Vripack Yacht Design Studio in Sneek is responsible for the design of the exterior and interior as well as the naval architecture for this six-deck sportfish. She will be classified by Lloyd’s Register.
Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology already has a number of other superyacht orders underway at Royal Huisman. Our engineers are very busy currently with the commissioning of Project 403 while the first cables have been laid onboard 404. Meanwhile, a start has recently been made on preparations for the installation on Project 405, a 46-metre sailing yacht due for delivery in 2022.
